1. Scope and controller

This policy applies when you visit a ClearPoint Logic website, read or subscribe to the Ghost-hosted blog, contact ClearPoint Logic, or use a ClearPoint Logic product or service.

ClearPoint Logic, Inc. is the controller of personal information covered by this policy unless a customer agreement says otherwise. When ClearPoint Logic processes data in a product on a customer's behalf, the customer is the controller and ClearPoint Logic acts as its processor or service provider.

2. Personal information we collect

Depending on the interaction, ClearPoint Logic collects:

• contact and account information, including name, work email, company, role, authentication identifiers, and communication preferences;
• submitted information, including inquiry details, support requests, feedback, policy acceptances, and product content;
• transaction and subscription information, including plan, billing status, and payment-provider identifiers. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider rather than stored directly by ClearPoint Logic;
• technical and usage information, including IP address, browser and device type, referrer, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, timestamps, diagnostics, security events, and product activity; and
• information from business partners and public business sources when needed to manage a prospective or existing business relationship.

3. How we use personal information

ClearPoint Logic uses personal information to:

• provide, secure, support, and improve its websites and services;
• respond to inquiries and manage customer and partner relationships;
• authenticate users, administer accounts, and enforce agreements;
• process subscriptions, prevent fraud, and maintain audit records;
• send requested updates and marketing communications with an unsubscribe option;
• understand site and product performance and diagnose failures; and
• comply with law and protect users, ClearPoint Logic, and the public.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, ClearPoint Logic relies on performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the business, consent, and compliance with legal obligations, as appropriate.

4. Analytics, cookies, and similar tools

• Plausible Analytics measures aggregate website activity.
• Cloudflare Turnstile protects public forms from abuse.
• The Ghost-hosted publication may use cookies or local storage for memberships, newsletter subscriptions, preferences, and first-party analytics.

These providers may receive technical information such as IP address, browser details, page URL, and event data. ClearPoint Logic does not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and does not sell personal information. Browser controls may limit cookies, though some features may stop working.

5. Disclosures

ClearPoint Logic discloses personal information only as needed to:

• service providers that host, secure, analyze, communicate, process payments for, or otherwise support the services;
• professional advisers and auditors subject to confidentiality duties;
• authorities or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security; and
• a successor in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. Transfers, retention, and security

ClearPoint Logic and its providers primarily process information in the United States. Contractual and other safeguards are used for international transfers when required.

Personal information is retained only as long as needed to provide services, maintain security and audit evidence, comply with legal and contractual obligations, and resolve disputes. Periods vary by data type, product, and agreement. Information is deleted or de-identified when no longer needed, subject to backup cycles and lawful exceptions.

ClearPoint Logic uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of your personal information; to withdraw consent; to appeal a response; or to complain to a data protection authority. ClearPoint Logic does not discriminate against a person for exercising a privacy right.

Send requests to [email protected]. We may verify your identity and authority. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law. Marketing recipients can unsubscribe through the message. ClearPoint Logic honors legally required opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, where applicable. Browser Do Not Track signals are not interpreted consistently across the industry.

8. Children and changes

The services are business services and are not directed to children under 18. ClearPoint Logic does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
